Gold Coast Airport Transport Options

SkyBus

The SkyBus Gold Coast Airport Shuttle is a dedicated service connecting the Gold Coast Airport to Gold Coast’s most popular tourist locations. The Gold Coast Airport Shuttle services all flights, 7 days a week from Tweed Heads to Main Beach.

Services depart right outside the terminal building and feature access to the famous Skybus world-class experience including free WiFi, a modern comfortable fleet, industry leading vehicle presentation, online ticketing options and as on all Skybus services up to two children travel for free.

Buses and Trams

TransLink’s integrated network on the Gold Coast includes the G:link trams, Surfside Buslines and Queensland Rail.

Bus Route 777 is a limited stop service, taking you from Gold Coast Airport to Broadbeach South tram station, where you can transfer on platform to the G:link for Surfers Paradise, Southport or other bus routes. Route 777 runs every 15 minutes from 7:00am to 7:00pm, seven days a week.

For those guests visiting the Gold Coast, the Gold Coast go explore pass is available from the Airport and is easy to use. The pass is only $10 a day for unlimited bus and tram travel.

Taxi and Uber 

A taxi rank is conveniently located at the southern end of the airport terminal, outside the domestic arrivals area.  Please refer to http://www.gccabs.com.au for bookings, fares and further information.

The Uber pick up point is located at the northern end of the terminal, outside the departures area.

 

Car rental 

You’ll find all of Australia’s best known car rental companies located opposite the arrivals area at Gold Coast Airport. Book before you arrive or shop around at the terminal for the best deal.

Your rental company will direct you to the correct parking location to collect your vehicle.
